On Arrival:
Juggling - Foot, Thigh, Chest, Head NB: Ball no higher than your own head

Instructions:
Players move around area pretending other players are defenders and penetrating gaps in the opposition defence. Use of change in direction and speed to avoid opponents. Head/eyes up & scanning at all times.
Coaching Points:
To ensure scanning is happening use visual numbers/colour check with players call on numbers of fingers held up or card colour.
Messi:
- Pinky toe to dribble
- Small quick touches
- Head up, look for gaps
Ronaldo:
- Lots of space, take bigger touches
- Pick up head after every touch

Organization:
set up: Use 15m x 10m Box
split the team evenly into Four groups
1ball to start.
Instructions:
On coaches command, player with the ball will pass and follow pass, next player will receive with back foot pass with front foot, pass and follow as well progressive through all players as they feed onto the programme. This is continuous for 90 seconds. Change direction of pass, counter-clock wise.
Coaching Points/Questions:
Head up.
Find target.
First Touch to pass with control and quality for transition to completion.
Long pass then short pass builds confidence with correct weight on pass to meet distance required.
Quality of pass, according with distance, weight and accuracy.
Regressions/Progressions:
Add second ball and potentially a third to increase pressure with reduction of time between passes and awareness response to action of surroundings.

Use standard 7v7 field with buildout line. Play 4v2 to three targets, as shown. When target receives they immediately join play for a 3v4 counter attack to goal. Vary the starting point, begin with ball always from GK, progress to serving it in from centre line for defenders to retrieve and build the attack.
Coaching Points:
- Centre backs: drop and get wide
- GK: wait for opposition to retreat to buildout line
- GK: be commanding, direct players where you want them

Organization
3 teams, 3 v 3 format. Red team vs Grey team, Blue team rests off to the side. 3 minute games. Winner stays on. If the ball goes out of bounds it restarts with the possession teams keeper. Keepers stay through out.
Progression
- Winner = most wins within the time period.
- Session ended with a penalty shootout
