Tactical-Technical scale 1-10: 10

Technical: Dribbling

Description: L shaped dribbling pattern

  • They will still do dribbling as shown in far left slide, but will start with what is shown in middle slide. Dribble out around first cone, pass to patterner then check rec pass back and then complete dribling as show on left. 
  • Simple give and go added when switching with partner. 
  • Help them learn drill -Dribble around all cones as shown in far left figure. Pass back when back around middle cone. Key changes to make. Moves and said cones or simply go around it as quick as you can. Move at middle cone when going from one side to other.
Moves and ideas. 
  • Ball master stuff between set cones.
  • Turn moves 
  • around cones 
  • Moves at middle cone
  • Open up push then quick turn move even with no cone

Variations: 

  • Only go to a cone on one side not both to increase passing and opening up as well as allowing for maybe an open up into a quick pivot / change of direction. 

Focus: dribbling tight, with lots of changing of direction. dribbling off the receiving
