Practice Layout:
Total: 40yds x 25yds with 5yds target area at each end and 3 equal 10 yard sections.
Timings:
2 minute to play followed by 1 minute to relay principles of session objective (Breaking Lines) followed by 1 min play - 2-6 Mins
1 Min Intervention then 2 minutes on play - 7-10 Mins
1 Min Intervention and 3 Mins play - 10-14
1 Min Intervention 3 Mins play - 14 - 17
2 Mins play -18-20
Total ball rolling time = 13 minutes = 65%
Challenges, Conditions or Targets:
The objective of the coached team (blue team) who begin in possession at every restart, is to try and play through the opposition players, transferring to their teammates, and then score by beating the last red opponent into the small mini goals. If they do, successfully, they get to maintain possession and beginning attacking towards the other team.
The objective of the managed team (red team) is to trying prevent the blue team to transfer the ball from
one end to the other. If they successfully dispossess the blue team, they can then score by reaching theirrespective end player.
Bibs will be laid out on the pitch before the session and players will be briefed in positions
