Context: U11's who are learning about decision making when going from defence to attack.
Objective: Develop players decision making and technical abilities in tight area transitions from defence to attack.
Rules: Reds start with possession with a pass from the defender in our blue attacking zone, reds are trying to score for 5pts in the GK's goal. The wide red players are on 2 touch but the ball can't stop. Blue's are trying to win the ball and transition to attack. They can play into the wide goals for 2pts to secure possession or they can play forward to the blue ST's who can play out a 2v1 attack to try and score for 5pts. Red wide players can come in to defend once blue's gain possession.
Progression: A single red defender can chose to retreat and create a 2v2 in the blue attacking zone. Reward not conceding in the attacking area with 2pts and an extra 5pts if they can then transition from there to score. Wide red players do NOT need to go back outside on attacking transition.
Regression: Wide red players can NOT come into the zone once blue's win possession.
