Step Over Corner (15 minutes)
- Corners taken alternately from left and right
- Left mid steps over the ball for the centre mid to strike the ball into the net (from edge of the box)
- Alternate player positions every 5 minutes
Coaching points - accuracy/weight of passing, timing of runs, finishing technique (power, finesse, chip)

Explosion Corner (15 minutes)
- Players run off the cones and huddle on the penalty spot
- Players split as the corner is taken to front post (play 1), back edge of box, (play 2) or edge of penalty box (play 3)
- Corner taker has to decide which player to play to
Progression - introduce a defender on each post after 10 minutes

Free Kicks (15 minutes)
- Goal Keeper sets up wall
- Play 1 - direct (every player has a shot on goal)
- Play 2 - plays to left wing for a cross or shot
- Play 3 - plays to attacking mid for pass or shot
- Play 4 - plays to right wing for pass or shot
- on plays 2-4 the wall breaks to defend
- rotate positions every 5 minutes

Short Corner (15 minutes)
- Corners taken alternately from left and right
- Player takes corner short to player checking in, who passes back to the corner taker
- Corner taker makes a decision to pass to left midfielder on the edge of the box (play 1), striker at the front post (play 2) or right midfielder running to the back post in line with the penalty spot (play 3); 3 options for shooting
- Alternate positions every 5 minutes
- No defenders for first 10 minutes, then introduce 2 defenders running off the posts
- Progression - call plays 1, 2 and 3 (to the corner taker out of earshot of the defenders) randomly for 7.5 minutes with defenders once they have done the drill being told the plays for 7.5 minutes.
- Coaching points - accuracy of passing, timing of runs, positional awareness, decision making (head up), surprise (change in speed or direction), finishing technique (power, finesse, chip)
