See animation for how flow of exercise works. Ball is played up to the 9. Once the ball is played the 3v2 situation is live, the 9 shall play for the attacking team the whole time, so if they lose the ball they press straight away. Team in possession is looking to create a goal scoring opportunity quickly with the 3v2 overload.

End Game.
Similar to the original play phase, if a player loses the ball, or misses the goal they must complete a technical activity to the side. This way the team in possession shall still have an overload as the game continues.

Play Phase - 3v2 Game (20 mins)
Play Phase.
Game begins with a 3v3 - When the ball has gone out of bounds, either dribbled or shot wide. The player that missed must go towards the red cone and complete technical activity designated by the coach (5 juggles for example). Whilst the player is completing the technical activity the other team counters to make a 3v2 overload.
If the ball goes out whilst the player is completing the isolated activity they swap over.
Coaching Points
- How can we create space for the player on the ball?
- Show me some runs you can make to drag defenders out of position?
- Look to find a good 2v1 scenario.
