Aims and objectives for this session are to develop the players' passing and receiving skills when in possession, trying to progress up the pitch.
Resources, equipment and facilities needed for the session are a pitch to play on, footballs, bibs, cones and goals.
A veo camera may be used as technology to allow coaches to watch the session back. This will allow them to find weaknesses within the session and plan to improve these in the future.
Health and safety; I must ensure weather conditions are suitable, there are no objects on the pitch, there is someone who is trained in safeguarding and trained in basic first aid.
I would ensure I had a differentiation strategy to ensure all players were challenged and were being stretched to encourage their development as a footballer.
Pre session preparation is important as it means you are more likely to get something out of the session and it also makes it easier to fic problems that arise during the session. Therefore, I will ensure all sessions are planned ahead of it so that everything runs as smoothly as possible.
Components of physical fitness will be added into certain sessions at certain points of the season. For example, this may be integrating running into a passing drill.

Time
This drill will last around 20 minutes
Intensity
This activity is of medium intensity.
Description of practise
This is a drill that focuses on passing and receiving the ball. Players will be standing on their cones and will receive the ball from their right, use their right foot to touch the ball across them and then pass it out the the player on the next cone with their right foot. When the players have understood the sequence, I will introduce another ball to get the players passing the ball faster and engaging more in the practise.
Contingency plan
Something that may go wrong in this drill is if the players can't make consistently successful passes and by losing the ball numerous time the tempo of the drill was slowed down. To fix this, I would decrease the length of the passes by moving the cones closer together, making it easier to complete passes.
Coaching method
I will be using the coaching method of concentration during this drill. Players must have good concentration and awareness of where the other ball is as well as the ball they are expecting is. If they lack concentration at any point, one ball could catch up to the next ball, slowing the drill down and making it less effective.
Differentiation/stretch and challenge
To challenge the players in this drill, I would change the direction of the play. This would encourage everyone to use their left foot for receiving and passing the ball, which would improve the players' preferred and non-preferred foot in one drill.

Time
This drill will last around 20 minutes
Intensity
This activity is of medium intensity.
Description of practise
This practise is a normal game with a condition that the team must complete 5 passes before attempting to score. This will encourage the players to use the skills they learnt in the previous drill, about passing and receiving, and apply them to the game.
Contingency plan
If the players are finding it difficult to complete 5 passes then this will mean that no goals are scored and it will defeat the point of it being a game. To solve this, I will decrease the amount of passes that must be completed before attempting to score, for example, 3 passes must be completed.
Coaching method
During this drill, I will use the coaching method of connection. It is important that the players have a good connection and have good communication to effectively complete the desired amount of passes.
Differentiation/stretch and challenge
To challenge the players, if they are finding it too easy to complete 5 passes, I will increase the amount to 10 passes. This will make it more difficult for the attacking team and encourage them to use more of the pitch as well as move the ball faster and more accurately.

Time
This will last around 10 minutes.
Intensity
This activity is of a low intensity.
Description of practise
This cooldown is a simple slow jog around the pitch to cool down the players' muscles after the session.
Contingency plan
This is not needed because it is a cooldown.
Coaching method
I will use the coaching method of motivation in the cool down to encourage the players to complete the last part of the session.
Differentiation/stretch and challenge
This is not needed because it is a cooldown.

Warm up (5 mins)
Time
This will last around 10 minutes.
Intensity
This activity is of medium intensity.
Description of practise
This warm-up is a rondo. It is a 5 vs 2 which makes it hard work for the two players in the middle. They must work together to try and win the ball back whilst the 5 outside players are passing the ball between them. If one of the defenders wins the ball, the outside player who lost the ball, as well as the person to their left, will swap in and defend in the middle.
Contingency plan
If the wrong number of players turn up to the session it would effect the numbers in each rondo. To solve this problem, I would keep the same number of defenders in, but the number of players trying to retain the ball would decrease. This would make it harder for the players to keep possession of the ball.
Coaching method
During the warm up, I will use the coaching method of connection to encourage the players to know where their next pass is, and the receiving player to be expecting the ball without giving it away to the defenders.
Differentiation/stretch and challenge
To develop this warm up and challenge the players, I could make it a 4 vs 3 and add an additional defender. This would put the players around the outside under more pressure and make it more difficult for them to complete a lot of passes before the ball was intercepted.
