Using three pedagogical theories with in this session, will aid and assist the learning of the players. Scaffolding theory will set the base level of knowledge for the session. problem based learning will occur during the session with the opposition changing tactics in the session. Scenario based learning will occur in the SSG when setting a scene to the players to live in the situation and overcome the scenario.

Set up:
Red Team: 4-1
Blue Team: 4 diamond
Defensive principles:
- Pressure on the ball
- Communication
- Angles & Distance of Support
- Compact and narrow
- Tracking Runners
- Decision making
Instructions:
Ball always starts with red team GK. Plays into cental midfield players. Red team aims to get the ball into the target player. Blue team win the ball back they get it to opposite target player as fast as possible.
Conditions:
- Blue Team to find target player as fast as possible
- Red team to keep possession to find 10 and target player
Targets:
- protect the middle
- force out wide
Scenario 1:
- Red team switching the play in midfield, trying to create passing angles into the ACM or the target player

Set Up:
Take out both teams Full Backs for 9v9
Blues:1-2-4-2
Reds:1-2-4-1-1
Defensive principles:
- Pressure on the ball
- Communication
- Angles & Distance of Support
- Compact and narrow
- Tracking Runners
- Decision making
Instructions:
The ball starts with red teams GK and plays to CB. Blue team to stay compact and protect the middle of the field.
Roles:
CB: if the ball is out wide, defend on the inside shoulder.
SCREEN: provide cover for two CBs and screens the attacker to cut out passing lanes into attacking CF
LCM/RCM: applies pressure on their side of the field, moves inside to cover and support the midfield unit
ACM: applies pressure to stop the ball going into attacking teams midfielder
CF: apply pressure to force the ball out wide
Conditions:
- When the blue team regain the ball, score in under 4 passes to get two goals. normal goal is one goal
- Red team to switch the play to create overloads to score
Targets:
- Protect the central area
- Force the ball out wide
- Don't get spilt
Challenges:
- When the Blue team get the ball can they find the CF quickly?
Scenario:
Winning 2-0 in the champions league final. the last 4 minutes of the game, manage the game to win the final
