-Activity takes place in center channel approx 35 y wide (half of indoor bubble pitch or marked on full size pitch)
-5 m target zone at half per diagram
-Blues attack goal and whites score by playing ball to target
-Game starts with coach serving: White to start in possession (Fullbacks on outside ready to enter)
-Reset to start posistions ahead of red line at re-starts.
-5V7 when starting, when white loses possession, FB's can enter field and connect with back line as white defends
-Two white players must exit field again if white regains possession
Key Points:
-Upon losing possession - urgently recover/ protect goal and set block
-GK communicate with CB's
-Tight marking when close to goal when attackers enter your zone (FB's/ CB's)
-Screening and tight tracking in Zone 1 and 2 (HM's AM)
-Maintain shape/ condensed and urgently clear/ or pass ball out when winning possession again
-Manage Attackers shape as needed to maintain pressure on defenders.
-Ensure play starts with defenders in possession and attacking shape to encourage quick recovery and shape in loss of possession (set conditions to defend quick attack)
-As defenders have more success, alter service to be more difficult (turn their backs, difficult balls etc.) to maintain conditions.
