Setup: 5 players. Cones A and C are 30 yds apart. Create a rectangle in between 10yds deep by 20 yds long.
Activity: Cycle passsing drill with focus on movement off the ball and receivng to turn and play..
Player A starts with Ball. Player B checks away from ball and then back towards. A plays B the ball who opens up to receive and performs a front foot Cruyff pass for A who runs an overlap to receive the ball and pass to C. A follows the pass and replace C. C is receiving the ball, and repeats patern with D. All players follow their pass to take up the next position in the rotation.
Coaching Points:
Angle and movement to create space
Accelerate out of turn
Posiitve first touch when receiving
Check Shoulder as pass inbound

Set Up
4v2 To Goal - Width of the box to half way line
Organization
Outside player (7/11) starts with the ball and plays into central player (10). Central player immediately attacks the space. This triggers striker (9) to check to the ball. Once pass is made Strker 9 performs afront foot CruYff follow through pass to the left and 11 runs down the line and overlaps to receive the ball and shoots to score or pass for 9( wich decision should i make ?) it creates a 4v2 to goal. Change players after set period.
Progressions
- Must score within a set time (7 seconds for example)
- Counter goals for the defensive players
- Make it a 4v3 by adding another trailing defensive player

Speed of Play - Highest intensity
Can i run down the line and surprise the defender?
Play forward, positive, always looking for shot on goal
Movement off the ball, timed runs
Accuracy & detail of pass, reading teammates movement, playing to correct foot

Building from Back - Switching Play
Set-up: Half field playing to 2 big goal s
Organization: Blue team plays 1-3-2-1 . White team plays 1-3-1-2.
Activity: Game starts with goal kick and both teams and tries to score in the goal.
Coaching Points
Maintain discipline in shape | Immediate pressure in transition to slow attack | Squeeze on loss of possession,
Use front foot Cruyff to pass down the line , and man frmo the back. no2 /7 overlap run with maximum speed to receive theb ball and penetrate( wich option do i choose , i cross , or i shoot?)
