Organization:
1. 15 x 15 yard grid
2. 4 players along the outer lines of the grid with 2 defenders in the middle trying to intercept the ball.
Instructions:
1. The defenders are allowed to tackle the player in possession of the ball.2. The 4 attackers should be placed on a side of the grid instead of a cone in the corner of the grid.
3. We want the players to be able to move to create angles to either keep the ball or play a split pass.
4. Rotate the defenders every 2-3 minutes
Regression:
1. If players struggle play 4v1 but make sure everyone starts with 4v2 and allow the players to try
Objective:
1. Player with the ball should look at location of defenders and play away from defenders
2. Players without the ball should look to create good angles to receive ball. Get to a location where a defender is unable to block the path of the ball to you

Organization:
1. Large Goal and 6 cones for gates
2. Separate players into 2 teams.
3. Have extra balls behind the goal.
4. Mark a build out line (as shown above RED LINE) or use cones.
Instructions:
1. The team of 5 players (yellow) defends the large goal and scores by dribbling through either of the three gates. The team of 3 (blue) tries to win the ball and score on goal.
2. Use the build out line to make sure the defending team of 3 must stay behind until the ball is played.
3. Ball always starts with the goalkeeper.
4. Rotate players so that all players get a chance a play out from the back with the goalkeeper.
Regression:
1. Play 5v2 to start if your group really struggles and gradually increase the challenge for the players.

Instructions:
1. Play 7v7 at the end or keep it small sided with numbers
2. Coach within the flow of the game and encourage the players to apply what they learned during the session.
3. Focus should be on how well players move the ball from defensive half to the attacking half. This will require the players put together a multiple topics they have gone over before together:

1. Good accurate passing technique
2. Good receiving technique, receiving across their body
3. Utilizing first touch to get into space
4. Movement off the ball to get open
5. Recognizing whether to dribble or pass based on how much space the ball carrier has.
6. Creating good angles to receive a pass

Individual Footskills (10 mins)
Organization:
1. 15 x 15 yard grid
2. Every players has a ball.
Instructions:
1. Every player inside a large zone, every player has a ball.
2. Each player dribbles the ball around avoiding contact with other players.
3. On the coach’s signal, the players perform the foot-skill that was demonstrated.
4. Every time a player does a skill encourage them to try to dribble to split two other players, if they perform the skill and dribble between two other players they get a point.
5. If they bump into somebody else or lose control of their ball they lose all their points.
Coaching Points:
1. Always looking for space when dribbling
2. Accelerate into space after doing move
3. Keep ball close when dribbling
