aa (6) plays a (9) who plays wide to 7/11 to begin play. After each attack players return to their side and rotate. The opposite team then attacks.
Coaching Points:
Can the targets combine if immidiate finish is not on.
Crosser:
Possitive first touch away from pressure or around a defender
Head up to see options when carrying the ball without pressure (to see movement of defenders, forwards, and space to attack)
Look to cut in or shoot when possible to commit GK or next defender
Diagonal cut back (why? It creates decision making problems for the GK)
Play as quick as possible
When: as soon as you see the best scoring chance
Why: cut in to score or commit and create chance for easy cross face diagonal pass
9: Back door run when other player is available.
Timing of runs
