Session designed to practice good social distancing, while still working on the technical, tactical, physical and mental aspects of the players and futbol.
The session is to aid coaches with content/coaching, during COVID-19 and practicing social distancing.

Technical Circuit (20 mins)
Set up = 1 Triangle Per Player. 4 Yard base with 3 yards from base to point. 2 Triangles facing each other about 10 yards from each other with about 6 - 8 yards in between adjacent grids.
A. - Quick Dynamic Warm UP w/out Ball between Cones
B. - Ball Mastery between Cones - F/B Foundations, F/B Ball Rolls, R/L Foot in/out, Alt in/out R/L foot. 30 secs of ball masterey w/about 30 secs of juggling in between. 1 - 2x each.
C. (C1) Dribbling Fig 8 and (C2)Turn Competitions - R & L Foot. Turns - Player Choice. If lose = owe push ups, squats, jumping jacks, etc.
D. Passing w/Partner 1 Works, 1 Serves - Switch 30s - 1 minute w/Variations:
D1 Worker = Shuffle to point of Triangle - Check to ball on opposite Side of Triangle - 1 touch pass back. (check away, check shoulder, check to)
D2 Worker = Inside Triangle - 2 touches (first touch right or left with inside of foot across the body) to go outside of triangle - away from pressure) to pass from outside of triangle
D3 Worker = Inside Triangle - 2 touches (first touch right or left with outside of foot to outside of body) to go outside of Triangle - away from pressure) to pass from outside of triangle.
D4 Worker = Receive ball inside of triangle - 1 touch back - open wide (R or L) - receive ball on front foot, outside of triangle. Then dribble around point of triangle and pass back from within traingle, repeat.
DRIBBLE & TURN
OBJECTIVE: To dribble the ball forward and turning with the ball. PLAYER ACTIONS: Dribble the ball forward.
1. Turn using the inside of the foot (Cut). Four Intervals.
2. Turn using the outside of the foot (Hook). Four Intervals.
3. Turn using a cut at one side and the hook at the other side. Four Intervals. 4. Turn using the drag back. Four Intervals.
KEY WORDS: Control, Slow down, Accelerate.
GUIDED QUESTIONS: 1. How can you keep the ball under control? 2. When should you slow
down with the ball? 3. When should you accelerate with the ball?
ANSWERS: 1. Push the ball in front of you with the laces – 2. Before you are going to execute the turn – 3. Right after each turn.
DRIBBLE THE BALL FORWARD
SKILL ACQUISITION COACHING POINTS : Dribbling- Head Up and Eyes on the ball, Surface of the Foot to use, Surface of the ball to strike, Distance of touch, Change of Direction, Balance and Acceleration (Change of Pace) after the defender is beaten.
OBJECTIVE: To dribble the ball forward. PLAYER ACTIONS: Dribble the ball forward.
1. Inside and outside of one foot. Four Intervals.
2. Touch with inside right, touch with inside left. Four Intervals. 3. Fake and take. Five Intervals.
4. Circle take. Five Intervals.
KEY WORDS: Control, Fake, Accelerate.
GUIDED QUESTIONS: 1. How can we control the ball before performing the move? 2. Why do you need to fake a defender (cone)? 3. When do we accelerate?
ANSWERS: 1. We will take smaller touches – 2. The fake throws the defender out one way – 3. As soon as we are past the defender (cone).
