Team Learning Objectives

- Recognising the correct moments and areas to retain possession

- Developing movement and decision making to dominate possession

Session Organisation

- 2 teams organised as shown (2-3-1) restricted to their thirds

How to Play

- As GK distributes ball #4 can drop in to defensive third to create a diamond

- Ball must travel through middle third

- Players can break a line with a dribble or pass and move to support into the next third

Progressions

- Encourage rotation of positions through thirds to unbalance opposition

- Remove zonal restrictions

Tech/Tact Focus
