Setup:
20x20 field
2 teams of 3
Activity:
Team in possession tries to score by dribbling passing ball over endline (acts as offside).
Defensive team MUST have one defender on the line (upon losing possession, nearest player drops off)

~When to possess vs. penetrate
~Using space wisely

Intervals:
2 min work + 1 min rest x 5 reps = 15 min
Setup:
25x25 grids with center 5x5 square
2 teams of 8, send over 3 defenders per game
Activity:
Attackers score by getting ball through center channel (direct or to CM) OR with 15 passes.
Defense scores in small goal outside grid.
Coaching Points:
~CM working off back shoulder of defenders; Body open to where to play next (away from pressure)
~Scanning field as ball travels - Can we penetrate? Play 1 touch?

6-8 reps of 2 min. work, 2 min. rest
Setup:
2 teams of 8 + 1 GK
Field setup as shown - midfield box of 30x30
Activity:
Midfielders combine with #4/5 to keep possession while looking to get ball into #9. Once ball is in attacking 1/3, players can join and try to score.
Defense scores by getting ball to targets (#4/5).
Need AR to watch for offsides.
Progressions:
+ Add in #5 so it's 1v2
+ Add in #7/11 and defenders to match
Coaching Points:
~ #6/8 movement when ball on #4/5: closest player moves away, farthest drops in.
~ #10 moves opposite of ball. Try to play in space between MF and Back 4.
~ #9 create space by working off back shoulder of CBs.

White: 1-4-3-1
Blue: 2-3-3
Activity:
Blue tries to score in big goal; White scores in 3 counter goals.
Coaching Points:
~Counter attack quickly if even or numbers up
