How to:
1v1 starting with a feed from the defender.
Introduce channelling and angled body position.
Ensure that the defender doesn't get beaten on the inside.
Basic Set Up = how many tackles can be made in 60 seconds
Progression 1 = widen the channel by 3 metres
Progression 2 = defender starts alongside the attacker to make it more realistic
Progression 3 = feed from another attacker to make the ball start more realistic.
Technical:
Block Tackle
Grip - From Open stick grip to Basic Grip
Body - Stay low, eyes on the ball
Stick - Low at 25º Place square on the ball line
Channelling - angle body to block the inside line, keep feet facing forward

How to:
1v1 starting with a bounce pass.
Attacking aiming to score, defender looking to win the ball or push the attacker behind the coned line.
Basic Set Up = how many tackles can be made in 60 seconds
Progression 1 = bring the cones back further from the top of the D to allow the attacker more space
Progression 2 = defender starts on P Spot to make it more realistic
Progression 3 = Remove the cones altogether and make the playing space the 23m so the defender has to win the ball.
Technical:

Stick - Low at 25º Place square on the ball line

Attacking aiming to score, defender looking to win the ball or push the attacker behind the 23m line.
Basic Set Up = how many tackles can be made in 60 seconds
Progression 1 = start the ball in different widths along the 23m to enable different channelling points.
Progression 2 = defender to attempt front marking to make it realistic
Progression 3 = If no tackle after 20 seconds, then second attacker can join making a 2v1.
