Session Objective: MOTG - We just lost/won the ball

See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
Organization: Set area per diagram. Approx 40x50. Approx 15 players.
Activity: Play with 3 teams. Begin with 2 attacking in possession and 1 defending trying to win ball. Attacking team will try to keep possession by passing within 1 of the 2 areas. If the defending team wins possession, they become the attacking team if they make a pass to a teammate who has run to the other side, at which point all players shift to new half and they become one of the attacking teams and the team that lost possession take their place as the new defending team.
Coaching Points-Transition to attack:
Are players quickly getting high and wide to get open for outlet pass or in position to score? Players that have won ball are they able to either make quick pass, or delay by sheilding/dribbling or making back pass to supporting player. Can players make quality pass thru a compressed defence?
Coaching Points-Transition to defence: Are players able to quickly close in on ball? Are players as a team able to get compact quickly to block outlet passing lanes. Are players able to recover/retreat from a high or wide position to get back to defend?
