PERIODIZATION - Each player group goes 2-3 times with 90 Seconds of work 3-4 groups 2 rounds of the exercise = (2 rounds x 90 seconds x 3 groups = 9 Minutes) or (3 rounds x 90 seconds x 3 groups = 14 Minutes)
Defenders and Servers, Players in defending Roles react
Back 4 or back 3 and adjustments to respond to positioning of Center Forward and Wide Forwards, on call of player and positioning.
- Coach Calls Number, Dribbler drives forward 3-4 dribbles and then turns around. Coach calls another number and defensive Unit reacts to get in shape/positioning
- After a few calls of the numbers 3-5 - Coach calls "NUMBER (#) SERVE" and that number takes a touch and Serves a Ball into the Back Line that would be dangerous Back line reacts, drops, and wins the ball out of the air if possible then raised and resets with Coach Calling next number to step and press.
Players should be able to react quickly, adjust team shape, adjust body shape, Scan field as they move and Win balls out of the Air with Cover and support
PROGRESSION: After first round of each group have players decide when they will serve the ball. Coach just calls numbers, and one of those numbes decides to serve a ball... Back Line should be able to read body Language and adjust and communicate and react.

PERIODIZATION - Each player group goes 90 Seconds rounds and then rotates. Do 6-7 rounds total with each defending group playing defensive roles 2x each at least = (6 rounds x 90 seconds = 9 Minutes) or (7 rounds x 90 seconds = 11 Minutes) Rest and Coaching moments.
Players play 4v4 with extra wide players to help the attacking group.
One group defends the full period and the other attacks trying to get shots off and create chances to score.
Attacking players can use the wide players to get crosses and such, but also to combine and play off of.
Outside players cannot finish or shoot, just pass and serve.
Defenders should work together to close down shots, close down attackers with proper shape, proper cover, proper support, etc. React to Wide Balls and Tuck, React, etc to win crosses, etc.
If Defending group can win it and play to goals outside the play area, they can earn a point.
