Ball work warm up
Working in 30x30 square again
Introduce 1 ball per 4 players
Players move around in square passing/receiving ball using 2 touches
Moving once pass has been made to find another ball
Progress to players with ball in hand, throwing for a vollley half volley. Focus on volley and catching technique, once you've served/caught pass the ball to another player then look to find ball for volley. Constantly switching roles.

One player with ball (add more balls depending on group size) - volley into another player (head, chest, stomach)
If player isn't receiving the ball, encourage to move to cones outside square to complete footwork.

Players pair up and number themselves 1&2
1 takes the lead and is followed by 2
1 moves around square changing direction regularly
Other chase games can also be used:
Stuck in the mud
bullldog
etc.
work for 1 minute and switch
Progress to a game of tag where 1 is chased by 2 until tagged then 1 becomes tagger and chases 2
work 45s to 1 minute.

Place numerous gates around the square of varying sizes
Allow free movement to begin, incorporating skips, high knees, heel flicks
progress to using gates within square where players can:
move side to side within gate
sprint to cone, stop and back pedal
use quick footwork around cone
set at cone
move down into one on one shape when moving towards cone
finish with dynamic stretches
Alternative
Get players into pairs, turn into a challenge to see which partner can run thorugh the most gates before being caught.

4 Instructions:
SET - players drop immediately into set position
Right - player hops up to land/balance on right leg only
Left - as above but land/balance on left leg
Colour - call 1 of 4 colours for players to sprint to.
