Skill shooting drill
area size: 18 yard box + 15m
to initiate the start of this drill a coach will shout command of 'go'. a player from either side will then run up towards the cone in front of them. there will be two coaches either side of the goal, whoever gets round the cone first from the pair will be given the ball for a 1vs1 to score in the opposite goal from the cone they ran around.

small sided game
area size: 18 yard box + 15m
two teams of 5 (including 1 keeper) if session number is 15+ can include team of bounce players plus floaters.
open play directional play. load balls up in both goals. when a team scores they keep the ball and play restarts from their goalkeeper. if ball exits play restart with goalkeeper, or bounce players can be used if numbers in session are high.
with 3 teams can do one goal then switch.

area size: not set (can place distance from goal dependant on age group)
sides can alternate after efficient number of repetitions.
1. in this first phase a player will weave through the cones and then take a touch inside before shooting at goal.
2. the second phase involves the first phase player, a bounce pass will be played back to the player on 2nd cone for a finish.
3. the third phase involves a player taking a positive touch down the line for a cross to the two players from phase 1 and 2.
