THE SESSION: 4v2 pressing and counter pressing exercise, team in red has to connect 4 passes then change the point of attack by passing to the red player who is alone in the other area then join him to earn 1 point, team in blue earn a point if they win posession and 1 player dribble outside the area at which time the team in red prevent blue player from dribble outside by counter pressing to deny penetration
PROGRESSIONS: Add more defenders and less passes
KEY MESSAGES/POINTS: Defending angle of approach, defending in groups of 2 and 3, making the opponent passing options predictable

THE SESSION: 8 passes equal 1 point the first team to earn 4 points wins, boundary players limited to 2 touches, all other players unlimited touches including the 2 neutral players.
PROGRESSIONS: Limit touches to only 2 touches or 1 touch.
KEY MESSAGES/POINTS: Ball speed remain high, players looking to over load and draw opponent into areas where over load takes places.

THE SESSION:
- Area: 40m x 50m - field split into 2 half's - goals 1 centrally with GK, one wide Players: 2 targets, 4v2 in each area, GK in large goal
- Attackers (Blue) play 4+2v2 in one area, attackers must get 3 passes before they can play into other half.
- Attackers can shoot at anytime into 3 goals. Defenders (Red) must look to keep shape and look for right shape for when to step up (press) when to drop.
- If defenders drop to defend goals then allows space for attackers but if they step up and no pressure on ball then attackers can pop ball over top into space. If defenders win ball can they look to hit targets (yellow)
PROGRESSIONS:
- Change Overloads
KEY MESSAGES/POINTS:
- Focus on pressing as a unit: cue and triggers: bad pass, pressure on ball, backwards pass then look to step up and condense. No pressure on ball look to drop/ deny forward pass.
- Defenders always playing on half turn – ready to drop off
