Organization & Instructions:
Half field with 18 x 44 yard area set up as shown
18 players (14 Attackers, 3 Defenders, 1 GK) set up as shown
Coach starts the activity by playing into the 3 attackers who attempt to score by dribbling over the end line
Once the defenders win the ball they attempt to counter attack to goal
The players waiting behind take over from the attackers in the next rotation
Option 1:
The ball is won and passed to the central forward (A) who lays the ball back to central forward (B). Right midfielder (C) runs in behind to receive the ball before dribbling forward. Left midfielder (F) makes a full length run to receive the cross from right midfielder (C). Central forwards (A) and (B) as well as one of the central Midfielders (D) or (E) break forward to support the attack
Option 2:
The ball is won and passed into space for the left midfielder (F) who dribbles inside for central forward (B) to overlap around. Central forward (B) receives the ball and crosses for the oncoming central forward (A).Right midfielder (C) and one of the central midfielders (D) or (E) make runs to the back post and the top of the area
Coaching Points:
Central forwards should be staggered when receiving
Wide midfielders should look to get forward quickly to support the attack and provide width

Central forwards should move in opposites with one stretching long and one dropping short
Defenders should be isolated quickly to gain a further numbers up advantage
Players should keep the ball moving to prevent defenders recovering

Red team attempt to score on goal and should play low pressure
Yellow team attempt to score on the three small goals and play high pressure. Full backs must be at half way line to score
Activity always starts from GK

20 players (2 teams of 9 / 6 groups of 3) 2 GK, set up as shown
Activity starts with group (A) attacking goal and the defenders (B) coming out to defend
The player that touches the ball last from the attacking team when the ball goes out of play stays in the field
The remaining two players, drop behind the goal they were attacking
Thefending players (B) now receive a ball from their GK and attack 2v1 against the now single defender from group (A)
The process repeats when the ball goes out of play
