WHO- Primary attacking players - 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 with 6, 8 and 10 secondarily involved.
WHAT- How to play through a high press and maintain possession to move up the pitch.
WHERE- BP defensive third of the pitch and middle area if successful.
WHY- To negate the high press and penetrate the gaps offered by the BPO team.
WHEN- When the high press is initiated and our defenders or GK have the ball.
Playing out form the back through a press to progress the ball into the middle third.
Attacking Principles targeted- Support, Width, Mobility.

Focus on building good habits whilst unopposed but no active coaching here:
Progression 1: Full back drops in to play bounce with with CB before split pass to 6. Full back still receives ball and 10 finishes.
Progression 2: Full back drops in to pass to 6, who plays first time pass to 10 who spins and finishes.

14 players - 8v6 overload for BP team who aim to progress up the pitch into the middle third to score in mini goals.The BPO team are given their defensive attitudes to keep here,1st defender (press/delay), 2nd defender (depth/cover) with a 3rd defender (balance) if required. The BPO team are aiming for a transition moment and to score in the big goal.

BPO team can you create 3 chances by applying a successful high press?
PLAYER TASKS:
Can the 6, 8 and 10 orchestrate the passing options required to beat the press and recognise when is the time to maintain their shape in a game situation?
