Warm up

ORGANIZATION:

  • 1 trapezoids
  • 6 cones

INSTRUCTIONS: Player begins by moving through the trapezoid with quick footwork.

  • At command, player runs to either red or orange 
  • Player goes through the cones performing zig zags

COACHING:

  • Toes
  • Knees bent
  • Chest down
  • Focus
  • Arms moving

PROGRESSION:

  • Add ball, player passes on each side of trapezoid

Main Part 1

 

ORGANIZATION:

 

  • 1 pole
  • 1 trapezoid
  • 3 rows of color cones - red, green, yellow
  • 3 balls

 

INSTRUCTIONS: Player begins by doing quick feet movement in trapezoid.

 

  • On command, player quickly moves to color and dribbles through cones. 
  • Turn around pole and re-starts dribbling through cones.
  • Leaves ball  

 

COACHING:

  • Chest down
  • Knees bent 
  • Every step, touch

PROGRESSION:

  • Pole is move 15 yds away
  • Add one more row
