Setup: Use the box and place all balls near coach at the "D". 3 teams of 4 or 5. GK
Game: One team is defense, offense, or neutral for each 2 min game (black = Def, red = off, blue = neutral in example). Coach times 2 min games. Red tries to score as many goals as possible in 2 min. Black tries to win ball and play out to any neutral (or pugs if desired). Both offense and defense receive pt for any score or successful pass out. After 2 min, switch roles. Defense to neutral; offense to defense; neutral to offense. Play 2 or 3 rounds of each role for each team, and tally final score.
Goalie tries to distribute to one of the three central neutrals if save is made.
Coaching: Don't panic; stay calm while in possession; but still play quickly. Shot is always first option, but keep ball moving and keep possession if no shot available. Always be in a mindset and position to shoot. Plan ahead "if ball comes, how can I shoot? or do I need to pass?" Everything is in the box, so every defender should pressure ball at all times. Touch Tight. IF defense wins, offense needs to pressure immediately to prevent outlet pass.

4v2 partner transition rondo
Setup: two 12x12 boxes side by side. 2 cones about 15 yards off the boxes. Every player has a partner. 2 pinnies for defenders in each square (pinnies are for holding not wearing)
Game: Two 4v2's inside each box with 2 players waiting. Play like a regular rondo, except partners are always connected. If you or your partner lose the ball (bad pass, bad reception, intercepted ball), both you and your partner must run and tag the two waiting players. The rest of the group continues to pass 4v0, while the pair that was defending join into offense.
Once tagged, the two players run into the 4v0 square and grab pinnies before starting to defend. Each grid continues to play like this continuously. Every time you have to go out to the red "waiting" cones, you collect a point. the team closest to 0 after 5 min of play wins.
Coaching: Don't panic; stay calm while in possession; but still play quickly. Scan for oncoming defenders and communicate. Move to help each other. Shield or take a touch if needed. Pressure together on defense.
