Coaching players to create scoring opportunities by moving with and without the ball. Taking up positions in order to be dangerous running with the ball or moving possession quickly to unbalance the defense to crate space to attack on the dribble or service players attacking space in front of the goal.

4V4 + 4 in 4 grids ( 20X20 grid divided into 4 5X5 smaller grids).
Divide players into 3 groups of 4 (4 attackers, 4 defenders, 4 neutrals). Attacking players must maintain 1 player per smaller grid at all times, defenders can track or switch. Play 2 touch, when ball is played to outside players they, both players on the end must touch the ball.
Progrssion: Play 1 touch in the middle.
Coaching Points: Movement to create space for yourself and/or team mates, receive the ball on the movement to play quicker, look to play between the lines of defense, be aware of your team mates positioning, communicate, passes should be made to space to encourage movement. Outside players should move to position themseves to play quickly as well.

15X15 Smaller Grid with small goals on each side inside a 30X30 Grid.
Play 6v6 with 2v2 inside the smaller grid and 4v4 outside. 2 Touch play.
Coaching Points: Player should move off the ball in order to create space for themseves and team mates. Be aware of rotations. Concentrate on how the ball is received.

Divide the attacking third into 3 zones; 1 inside the 18 yard box and 2 in the space between the 18 yard box and the sideline.
Play 3v2 in each zone, moving the ball in order to create a service to score or switch the ball into another zone.
Coaching Points: Players should take up positions in order to play the ball quickly, move to unbalance defense in order to play the ball into dangerous positions, movement to score goals, first touch to maintain possession or attack the space.

Passing & Receiing to Progress under pressure (15 mins)
30X20 grid with players along the 30 yard side.
Players work in groups of 3 with 1 player in each end zone 1 player in middle zone. Player in end zone with the ball passes to teammate in middle zone. Receiving player receivesacross the body and passes to opposite player in end zone. Practice is repeated in the opposite direction. Rotate roles of players.
Progression 1: Add 2 defenders who can ONLY intercept a pass.
Progression 2: players in endzones can move through the space.
Coaching Points: Encourage players to be creative in their movement to get free and play the ball forward, receive the ball properly across the body - takig the touch away from the defender to enable them to pass the ball forward, sideways on, check shoulder, remind players that they need to know:: 1) where the ball is 2) where the defenders are and 3) where their team mates are.
