Instructions: Player "A" Drops in between the two mannequines to receive pass 1 from player "B". "A" recieves on a half turn to split two mannequines with 1st touch and plays a diagonal ball into player "C". Player B follows his/her pass and runs diagonally between the two mannequines the turns sharp to perform a "Wall Pass" with "C". "C" then plays firm precises pass to "D". Player "B" then drops back to split two lower mannequines to receive pass on a half turn from player "D". Player "B" passes diagonally with a firm precise pass to "E". Sequence has Player "D" now moving into the middle to perform in the opposite direction.

Set Up: 40 Yrds by 20 Yrds wide, 6 Working players per sequence 7:8 Cones as markers and a 5 balls.

Player "C" then plays a firm precise pass into "D". "D" lays off to supporting underneath run of "B" who then switches the play by passing to player "E". Player "E" plays a long ball into "F" who opens up in the direction to dribble and attack towards the sequence starting point.
Player Rotation: "A" replaces player B, Player B replaces player C, Player "C" replacs player "D", Player "D" replaces player "E". Player "E" Joins the line if there is a line.
Key Points: Firm and precise pass, timing of movement, body position (facing to play forward) (Side On) Support play is vital in game realism so we must ensure the details of support are properly being used. Angle, distance and time. Movement is to prepare space you want attack or receive the ball in. When moving to support Check shoulder. Timing of check, As I travel "Look" as ball is traveling to me "Look" to understand 1st touch direction. Player "B" movement and layoff is a representation that he/she can't turn due to pressure so must layoff to supporting player "C". Same type of movement an detail should be emphasised to players "D & E".
To establish game realism or the forward play theme note that Players in position "A" Represents a Centre Back. Player "B&C" represent 2 Central Midfielders and "D&E" a 2 strikers.

Set Up: Groups of 3 or 4 Players. 10 balls, 8 poles or mannequines or cones. Grid Size is 20x15 Yrds.
Instruction: Player on the outside "A" starts with the ball, Player "B" makes lateral movement to create a angle to recieve pass and then perform turn to switch point of attack by playing to player "C". Rotation continues. If the groups are of 4 players then you start with a ball at "A & C".
Turn receptions: Back foot turn play pass with opposite foot, Roll turn to play forward.
Coaching Points: Game reality, Passing must be firm and precise, 1st touch control, timing of movement, quality of pass. Quality is always in the details!
