Description

AT THIS PRINCIPLES OF PLAY - PRESSING & COUNTER PRESSING, the session is divided into three phases, on such the PHASE 1 (WARMUP ACTIVATION) is designed to incorporate a number of different dynamic drills, which ensure the players are prepared for the physical demands of the remaining sessions phases.

On PHASE 2 (PASSING PATTERNS WITH PRESSING), the players been split into groups of around seven to perform the same patterns that will focus on passing and pressing, and allow me to work on both in possession, out possession principles. As the practice develops to enable the pressing players to work on getting to the ball-carrier quickly, maintaining the pressure beyond the first touch, and also reacting quickly to losses of possession.

On the last phase 3,(TRANSITION GAME), this phase the players will be able to put all together, once they are out of possession they should be able to apply immediately press , recognize when to steal the ball or hold pressure to delay, communicate frequently with one another, provide cover and balance, and counter press, on the other hand once in possession they should find way to isolate the defenders on 1x1 situations, execute combination plays, and find a way to be creative to score goals.
