Review Skill Moves (5-10mins)
Stop - Foot on the ball
Go - Accelerate into space (2-3 quick steps)
Turn - Introduce different turns dependant on skill level
Stepover
- Start with feet behind the ball and the ball positioned between the legs In the garage
-swing foot between ball and other foot and then around the ball
-place foot on ground with full BW and drop same shoulder
-lift opposite foot and take the ball away with the outside of the foot
Scissors
-Start standing beside the ball on the skateboard with feet shoulder width apart
-Farthest foot away from the ball steps in front and slightly past the ball (legs should be crossed at this point)
-Uncross legs to land on the skateboard on the other side of the ball
*Ask players if anyone would like to share a move with the group
-Encourage players to make up their own moves and improvise
-Remind players to be confident in themselves even when they are learning a new skill

Line Slalom
Dribble through gates on way out and free dribble back to line with speed

*Have players split into 2 or 3 teams*
The object is to have the players pass and move while avoiding other players moving through the grid
1) Each team starts with multiple balls and passes while avoiding other players
2) Take balls from each team as players gain confidence and competency
3) Play with 1 ball and challenge each team to pass to each member of their team as fast as possible
*Players can be numbered and asked to pass in sequence*
Last Team Standing: Each team protects their ball while attempting to kick other teams ball out of the area
1) Start with multiple balls and progress to a single ball per team

1v1 Transition
One team on offence attempts to transfer ball between lines while other team defends. If the defending team wins the ball they can pass to their team or kick the ball out of play. The team that was previously on offence then defends.

Individual Technical Dribble Patterns

Individual Dribbling Patterns
Have players perform technical dribbling pattern to cone and free dribble back on other side of cone. Next player can begin when player in front is half way to the cone.
