Description
4v4+2
This practice should look to utilise overload players in channel areas to support and provide width to look to play through line of pressure to opposition half to punish via scoring in either mini-goals. Reds look to press and score off the regain into mini-goals that side to become the in possession team. Blues will jump in and become the next 4 with the yellows replicating the shape Blues had at the start. Players should look at creative runs, type and speed of movement to bypass pressure to score.

Description
6v6+2
Both teams set up with a 1-4-2
(GK play both teams, back 4, 6 and 8)
8v6 practice where In Possession team looks to progress through defensive zone into opposition half, creating an overload in attacking half to score. Once four players Press, they cannot go back into own zone to defend goal.

Both teams set up in a 1-3-1-2 (replicate midfield three)
Condition: Ball cannot be played from GK directly into opposition half unless drilled pass. Players encouraged to play through.

Description
Unoppossed practices focussing on combination play to bypasss opposition line of pressure. The picture shows two of the three methods used to encourage forward runs to breach line of pressure and receive facing opposition goal.
Players are encourages throughout to follow key details on types of movement, including "disguises", "double movements" and "faints" to not only create space to run into but space after receiving.
Coaching Points
- Detail on type of pass according to movement (weight of pass, angle created, body positioning when receiving) .
- Starting position in reference to where the ball is at each part of the play.
- Timing of run to ensure not offside / crowding or killing space.
Add variations or points like changing direction to encourage players to not switch off and create that rhythm of their passing as opposed to being robotic.
