Description
On the same 25x30 field, put a neutral on each side of the box. The Blue team can only score by passing between the horizontal neutrals, the Green team can only score by passing to the vertical neutrals. There is a neutral in the middle also to create 3v2's
Make sure to play at different heights, provide width as the neutrals provide depth.

Description
Split the field into 3. The two outside thirds are slightly larger than the middle third. The aim is to make 3 passes and then switch the ball to the opposite box without the defenders in the middle (The River) blocking the pass. The team that loses possession switches with the defenders. The ball immediately starts with the third group who wasn't involved.
1. Let them make 3 passes and try to play the ball through the river to the other group.
2. Introduce width and Depth. Add a defender into the box to play a 3v1.
3. Introduce movement off the ball / options from the group waiting to receive after 3 passes
4. Penetration: When the ball is switched, the group can try to score in the goal. All defenders can leave the river in order to prevent this.
E.g. Green makes 3 passes, finds a Blue who then turns to try and shoot. All defenders drop into the box as a 3v3 to prevent a shot.
You can play more than 3 passes if you need to. You can dribble into space rather than standing still. Adjusting the speed of play is key.

Description
In the same 25x30 field, we pick up from yesterday's 2v2 flying changes. Hopefully the attacking principles are now in place, players understand (and can execute) 1st and 2nd priorities.
1st Priority - Dribble into Space at speed / Draw a defender
2nd Priority - Pass forward to a teammate
3rd Priority - Pass sideways to a teammate
4th Priority - Pass backwards to a teammate.
The same game rules apply:
- If a goal is scored or the ball goes out of play in your half, you switch.
- Each player in Line A enters the field with a ball.
Key Points
Defensive Principles:
1st Defender - Pressure
2nd Defender - Cover

Description
25x30. All players have a ball. Push them to get as many touches as possible. I usually have them work at a high intensity for 90 seconds and then rest for 30 seconds. For example: How many touches can you get? I don't like this as it is open ended. I prefer to tell them, "Get 100 touches" in 90 seconds so that their is a clear goal. Having them take a touch and then a step is vital.
Progressions
Take ____ amount of touches, and then:
- Toe taps
- Foundations
- Turn and Explode
Coaching Points
Good contact with the ball
Knees bent a little / low center of gravity
Accelerate after turning
Use the weak foot
