Football/Soccer Session (Moderate): Passing: Warm Up

Warm Up (10 mins)

Organization:

1. 40 x 40 yard area set up as shown

2. 12 Players (6 A ttackers, 6 Feeders)

3. 6 Balls (Additional around the outside)

Instructions:

1. Every Attacker dribbles a ball around the area

2. Feeders move around the area without a ball

3. Attacker passes to a feeder that is open

4. The feeder then passes ball back to attacker they received the ball from

5. Attacker then looks for another feeder to pass to

6. In turn feeders should look for another attacker to receive from

Coaching Points:

1. Head up, observe your target

2. Weight and accuracy of pass

3. Disguise your pass

Progressions:

1. P – Play the ball around a live person

2. P – Receiver has to play one touch

3. R – Give the players more space
