Passing Pattern Two. Important points to emphasis in the exercise that the players are showing for the ball on the correct angle as the ball is worked up from the Halfspace Channel to Wing Channel, back to Halfspace Channel Players should avoid square or vertical passes in favor of positive diagonal passes.

This is Passing Pattern One. The exercise paints a picture of the phases of attack from the end of Build Up through Consolidation to Incision and Finish Phases. All 5 Principles of Attack are being used; Depth, Width, Movement/Support, Penetration, and Creativity. Play starts by one of the centerbacks passing to the #6 who is checking back around her mannequin. The mannequin is assumed pressure and #6 passes to the other CB. Who makes eye contact with the #9 and puts a hard pass to her feet as she checks back in the central channel. The #6 is circling around and calling for #9 to kill the ball and go. That's the exaggerated trigger telling the wingers "The attack is on, go!". #9 kills the pass and gets back to the CB mannequin. #6 then has the choice of ways to break the def line and the finish stage is on. Most of the exercise should be one to two touch with definite limitation after the incision.

Simple Finishing
Rotate clockwise after shot.
Passing lines on bottom corners of 6.
Finishing lines at top corners of 6.
When it is their turn, the shooting player turns and checks away from server. Then as they turn back around they make eye contact with the server to call for the ball which is then passed diagonally from back corner to top corner where shooting player started and is checking back into for the first time shot.
Blue player should either finish first touch with outside of left or inside or instep of right foot. Other way around for the red shooting corner.
NO GK's In Goal They should be doing this exercise like the rest of the team

Work to improve number over set amount of time.
