Why we need certain techniques at certain times
When we see visable cues to help us make decisions in and around goal

Set up:
4v4 game to big goals.
Organization:
Field should be short to allow for lots of shots on goal. If numbers are above 8 set field up twice with 3v3 or 4v4.
Coaching Points:
No coaching just lots of positive encouragement. Encourage players to take chances in and around the goal.

Set up:
As seen in diagram. 5 players involved in one time. After role in exercise players more to next cone. X4 returns to begining.
Organization:
1. X1 plays a pass and gets a return from X2, X1 to X3, X3 to X2 and X2 crosses ball back to X4 to finish
2. Same pattern but X4 lays ball off for X3 to finish
3. Same pattern but when X4 receives he dribbles in X3 overlaps and then shoots.
Progression: Add defender. Once ball goes into X2 it becomes a 3v1 to goal. Defender scores by playing ball to coach outside the box or dribbling out of the box.

Set up:
3 Groups and a keeper
Organization:
Red team dribbles up to a player on the floor (to symbolize a keeper diving at their feet). Their job is to chip the ball over. Red then turns and receives a wall pass with black for them to shoot against the keeper. black then turns to defend 1v1 against black to goal. Each player gets 2 goes at each cone before rotating.
Coaching Points:
Technique of shooting
Position of body, hips
Awareness of keeper, space and defender
Visual communication of where to place pass

Set up:
2 teams in 3 zones
Organization:
Zones are only in place to show where the attackers and defenders should position themselves at the start of the exerecise. Players score by connecting with the forward and then going to goal. Once the pass as been made to the center forward anyone can score including the center forward.
Coaching Points:

Position of body, hips
Awareness of keeper, space and defender
Visual communication of where to place pass
Creating space and providing good angles of support and approach

Organization:
As players arrive divide up into groups to work on different shooting techniques. Players get a point for every ball that goes in the mini goals.
1. Chip over one goal and into the other
2. Curl the ball around 1 goal and into the other (inside foot)
3. Curl the ball around 1 goal and into the other (outside of foot)

Work on technique with individuals
