Size: depends on skill level, closer is easier. Gates are 1 or 2 steps apart, long are 5-15 depending on skill level.
Time: as needed
Rules/Explanation: Coach can add a warm up part where player receiving the ball does a few toe taps or tik toks.
Pass the ball to your partner so they receive the ball in the same channel at the other end.
Receiving player has to return it through a different channel (receive inside, go outside)
Perform pass from in between the gates and behind.
Passer and Receiver should not go in front of the cones to make or receive the pass.
Two or three touch maximum (should be two touch when comfortable).
Coach's Cues:
Correct passing form / passing the ball with the inside of the foot / follow through (no chopping at the ball) / ball should roll straight / receive the ball with the inside of the foot receiving player should be on their toes ready to receive / first touch should put ball in position to pass back
