Badgers U12B - Week 6 - Use of Center midfielders (6 and 8) to keep the ball and use as link player
Technical:
- Quality/wieght/accuracy of passes
- What should my body shape be to see where the ball is coming from and going?
- Where can I move to be away from other players to create a good angle for teammate with the ball?
- Which foot should I use to receive the ball?
- Which foot should I pass to, front or back?
Tactical:
- If one center mid checks to the ball, where should I go? (further and higher away from play to provide a option)
- How can I anticipate so I can plan for a split that isnt there yet?
- What does the player receiving the ball's body shape tell me about what foot to pass to?
- Can I get through? Or, if I can't, can I use the central players as link players to get through?
Psychosocial:
- Communication and teamwork between players
- Players looking to compete during training
Physical:
- Specific movements to help with receiving the ball
- Quick changes of direction/two speeds when checking to the ball
