Set Up: 5 M X 10 M box Working on outside of Box.
1. Pass initiated from position 1 and passed around exterior of diamond in anti clockwise flow initially
2. Pass is received by next player on the back foot and pass in sequence to next player with the front foot, creating a two touch pass sequence to develop confidence with first touch to pass transition.
3. After ball is passed player moves to next position in the same direction as the pass following number sequence.
4. Passing and player movement to increase speed and quality as drill continues (5 Min Approx.)
5. Change Direction of ball movement and Player Transition to clockwise (reverse number sequence) to develop first touch to pass transition on opposite foot same steps and duration.
Progression: Is in next session stage - add an additional ball in and then another if drill is functioning at desired level

4. Passing and player movement to increase speed and quality as drill continues (5 Min Approx.)

SET UP: Arrival Activity- Technical skills
> 4 balls in play.
> Coach to have a good supply of balls to keep flow of arrival activity.
KEY POINTS:
1. First 4 players manipulate their balls to central mannequins. Ball mastery moves :-
-toe taps -tic tacs -inside/outsides -sole rolls -inside x2 outside -outside x2 inside -dribbling -slalom -RWB.
**coach can add in cones, flats for slalom**
2. Players to perform a skill move to change direction to their right and accelerate away from the turn.
-Fakes/disguise -Scissors -Double scissors -Drag -Cruyff -Maradona -Ronaldo chop -Step over -Matthews. Also ball mastery touches from above.
3. After each skill is performed and players return to home base (1 complete loop), change the direction (to the left).
**CP1**- Dribble at pace, slow down to perform the skill then acclerate away from the mannequin.
**CP2**- Play with your head up, nice and fleet footed and focus on timing and distance from mannequin/player when executing the skill.
**CP3**- When receiving next pass be ready, bouncing on toes, taking a positive first touch towards the mannequin.

1. How did the players find the arrival?
2. For older groups could add in some dynamic stretching before adding the balls, same movement patterns.
3. Focus on increasing ball speed and running speed as players adapt to the session, tone and tempo for the upcoming session!
4. Revisit this and check skill retention of players.

Warm Up Ball Mastery Style
Warm Up Ball Mastery: 5 M X 10M box. (2 - 5 Mins.)
All Players with a ball and move freely around the box working on ball mastery & control as they move around the zone without contacting another player, Keeping their eyes/head up during task.
You can state the following tasks during the session:
1. Toe tap on top of ball - Stationary initially
2. Heel taps for 1 minute
3. Dribbling around zone using specific parts of their foot:
