Receving and Passing: Objective is to work proper receiving depending where you are trying to play. Two touch limit to begin with (three if the group struggles technically).
Organization: Players in two colors of pennies (alternating colors in the line for progression); Player A gets himself between one of the color gates. Player C plays the ball to Player B and communicates the gate color Player A is in and which way to turn or play. Player B should play in 2 touch.
Rotation: Player A collects ball and heads back to line; Player B goes to a different gate from Player A; Player C takes Player B spot at the middle cone, start again.
Progression: Add a defender; Player B then becomes Defender, Defender becomes Player A, and continue with same rotation
Grid Size no wider than 30 x 30 yds as most passes attempted should be less than 20 yds.
Coaching Points: Focus on body shape for the direction they are playing, focus on technical aspect for where the ball is played and received, are they using same techniques we just worked on in warm-up?

3v3 Match to Goal: Match Starts by players opposite players with balls, race to cone in middle. Coach calls out team color that wins and that team plays the ball in to players racing. Game is live as the ball is played. When ball goes out, players rotate, and play starts again.
Objective: Creating a Game like situation from previous activites with the addition of goals and numbers. Has the previous session carried over? Are we receiving correctly for the direction we want to play? Is the technique breaking down with more pressure?
