Football/Soccer Session (Moderate): combonation and movement to create shot at goal

Set up is as above

player 1 passes the ball in to team mate in-front who sets ball back, when the ball is set back looking for a 1st time pass out to either player on edge of the 18 yard line. as this happens we are looking for player who sets ball back to player 1 to turn facing the pass and make a run to receive the ball ball from player on edge of the box (timing of run is important -needs to be done at speed so we lose defender)

when ball is set back we are looking for 1st time shot at goal (decisions to make - type of shot and where to place shot) - can we look at gk postion before making contact with ball)

after shot all players move up a position and experience different part of the drill.

we work both side (alternate every-time - next player in line uses other side when passing)

Looking for quick accurate passing, timing of runs and scoring goals.
