Warm-Up (10 mins)

Objective: Recognize threats: unprotected space, time and risk

# of players and opponents: 12v1

Space/Dimensions: 44x20y

Duration (work/recovery/sets): 30 sec/10 sec/10

Constraints: Soccer rules for controlling the space with the body, attacker keep moving until he/she finds an open spot

Method of scoring: Attacker by moving to an open dot/cone and defender from preventing the attacker to score

Focus Team:

  • Organize defensive positioning to maintain horizontal and vertical compactness: Push up, shift, hold the line, drop off
  • Determine and check position and distance between lines

Activity 1

Objective: Recognize threats: unprotected space, time and risk

Constraints: Game start with 2 attackers and 3 defenders plus GK, after ball goes out for the first time we add

Method of scoring: Attacker by moving to an open dot/cone and defender from preventing the attacker to score

Activity 1

Constraints: 2 attackers against the goalkeeper (2 pairs going to the same goal), after first 2 balls are out they play 2v2 (same pairs). in the third moment a new team of 4 players comes in to play a 4v4 plus goalkeepers.
