Session based on dribbling with the ball. Focus is to build the fundamentals of dribbling with the ball keeping your head up and close control of the ball.
Requirements: Cones and footballs

Set up pitch 25 X 25yds. place 3 cones approx 1 yd apart in a line at one end of pitch then another 3 up the top of the field as per the picture.
Every player has a ball.
Start by dribbling through the first 3 cones in a zig zag pattern, then dribbling up the field and around then through the next 3 cones then dribble back down the field to the next 3 cones then repeat. you finish by dribbling around the pole at the bottom of the field of the opposite side.
Players must try and keep close control of the ball and use both feet if they can.
Keep their heads up.
Progression:
Put the cones closer together.
Regression:
Make the distance between the cones larger.

Keeping the same setup as the Technical dribbling we can progress into the skill element of the session.
The exercise is the same only now we can move the cones closer together.
Apply some pressure by timing the players in how long it takes to complete the exercise.
We can also add pressure by adding a chasing player, the player with the ball starts the exercise then after 5 seconds the second player tries to catch him up either with or without the ball.

Small sided game.
Set up pitch 35 x 30yds with 2 end zones and 4 corner zones.
Game to be played free play
player scores a point if he/she can dribble into an end zone or 2 points if they can dribble into a corner corner zones.
Progressions:
Take away end zone leaving just the corner zones
Remove two corner zones leaving just two corner zones
Condition:
Players must use both feet
Can only use weaker foot

Mechanics:
Use outside of foot to dribble
Keep ball close to your foot
Arms slightly out to the side for balance
Lean slightly forward
Keep head up.
