7v6+2 Build to Transition:
Obj: Improve building team's ability to progress into the middle third - improve defending team's ability to prevent progression and transition once ball is won.
Set Up: Half field with a central pugg & two gates set up for neutral OBs
Timing: 3 minute games - rotate roles
Rules/Scoring: Ball starts with reds who are looking to build to either the central pugg, or finding the feet of the neutral OBs. Once finding the OBs they are activated for the blues - reds must be able to defend in transition - and blues are looking to go to goal.
Variations: Can put a target neutral centrally instead of the pugg for a more mobile scoring option/can look to play off of that target (they are not involved in transition and can also help blues keep possessoin/SPoA

2v2 Flying Changes
Obj: Improve players movement and decision making in transition
Progressions: Can make 3v3 or add wide players higher up the field. Can pull a defender out so we are attacking numbers down, etc.
Timing: Can play for time or to # of goals scored depending on numbers in the session and load of the session. MD-1 play shorter games. Harder sessions can play longer games.
Coaching Points: Dynamic movement to move defenders (get out of straight runs in the same channel), look to get in front of ball carrier, be aggressive in actions whether you are going 1v1, making a run or playing the ball.

Over the River (MD-1)
Obj: Prepare/activate players for the MD-1 session
Timing: Play to 6 points
Scoring: Each team can score two defensive points max. Defensive points are scored by winning the ball off of the press, and transferring to the opposite grid. To score attacking points teams must connect 5 passes, and then transfer to the opposite grid either on the ground or in the air.
Coaching Points: Shape to possess, decision making on the ball, looking to switch point of attack
