Organization:
About 25x20 yards.
Mini goals at each end.
Even teams.
Instructions:
Attackers play 3v2 starting with the ball and attempt to score in the mini goal.
Defenders can win possession and score in the opposite goal.
Play for several minutes and then switch attackers and defenders.
When the attackers shoot, whichever player shot must transition and defend against two new defenders who now have possession and look to score 2v1 on the attackers goal.
After the 2v1 play starts again with the origional attackers playing 3v2.
Coaching Points:
Attack the defenders with speed.
Options, do we beat the defender on the dribble or with a pass behind the line?
Spacing to give us more time and better options.
Movement of the 2nd and 3rd attacker to try and help create a 2v1 situation.
Quick combination play to get through the defenders.
Progressions/Regressions:
P - Add a third defender.
R - Eliminate the transition 2v1.
R - Increase the size of the area.

Space about 40x40 yards (adjust for numbers and ability).
Wide channels marked with cones.
Large goals.
Instructions:
Teams play 5v5-7v7 with keepers.
The team in possession may have up to two players in a wide channel at a time, the defending team may have only one in at any time.
Coaching Points:
Possess the ball and get it to an area where we can create numbers up (wide).
Once we have numbers up attack quickly and try to create a chance on goal.
Progressions/Regressions:
P - Time restriction in the wide channels.
R - Add a neutral player.

Players split up evenly into two teams.
Instructions:
No restrictions game to big goals.
Coaching Points:
Recap all points from previous activities.
Progressions/Regressions:
R - If using a third team have them stand along the outside and act as neutral players (limit them to 2 touches)

Organization:
Space about 20x15 yards.
Players divided up evenly.
Instructions:
Attacking players attempt to beat the defending player 2v1 and score on the small goal.
After a set time teams switch attack to defense.
Each goal is worth a point, teams compete to see who can score the most points.
Defenders can win possession and score by dribbling across the attackers endline.
Coaching Points:
Dribble with speed when engaging the defender.
Head up when dribbling.
Understanding of when to pass and when to dribble.
Movement of the 2nd attacker to be at an angel of proper support (forward or behind never square) for 1st attacker.
Progressions/Regressions:
P- Add a time limit to the attacker (5-7 seconds depending on ability level).
