Dribbling & Shooting (15 mins)

Dribbling Organisation. Practice can be between 3 players. Position two cones 20m apart. The first cone is position A and the second cone is position B. Player 1 dribbles the ball to position B where player 2 takes the ball and dribbles back to position A where player 3 takes the ball and dribbles to position A. This cycle is then repeated.

Dribbling Key Factors. Players are to keep the ball close, keep their head up, use various parts of the foot (inside/outside/laces).

Shooting Organisation. Players line up 25m from the goal in the center of the pitch. Coach places a ball on the edge of the penalty area and the players take it in turn to run up to the ball and shoot at the goal.

Shooting Key Factors. Players must identify the area to strike the ball, takes 1st touch away feet for timing, eyes on the ball and the target, lock ankle stike through the ball, follow through, head over the ball, accuracy, strike with laces.
