Two good drills where players can practice reaction shooting and controlling and shooting.

See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
Based on 12 players and 1 goalkeeper, Cone off a 10 yard square on the edge of the penalty area, Goalkeeper in goals ready to play, 1 coach behind the goal to observe and return balls 6 outfield players queued on each corner of the penalty area and another coach in and around the edge of the centre circle with a good supply of balls (Ideally more balls than players to avoid delays).
The Drill
The Coach stands on the edge of the centre circle ready to serve the ball, the first player runs in and the coach fires in a pass and the player has to control the ball set him/herself and get a shot at goal within the 10 yard square and then return to the back of their queue ready for their next turn, as coach you will again understand which players need to practice controlling the ball with certain parts of their body so you can vary the delivery into them between foot, thigh or chest to bring reality of a game situation into the practice, continue this for 10 minutes then swap the groups over so that players can practice receiving the ball while coming in from different sides of the pitch and continue for a further 10 minutes so that both players and goalkeeper are getting a good practice, this drill can be progressed by limiting players touches within the 10 yard square.

Reaction Shooting (20 mins)
OrganisationBased on 12 players and 1 goalkeeper, Goalkeeper in goals ready to play, 1 coach behind the goal to observe and return balls 12 outfield players and another coach in and around the edge of the centre circle with a good supply of balls (Ideally more balls than players to avoid delays).
The Drill
The Coach stands on the edge of the centre circle ready to serve the ball, the first player comes in and stands in front of the coach with his/her back to the coach bouncing on toes ready to react, the coach then serves the ball and the player reacts, runs onto the ball and gets a shot off at goal and returns back to the back of the queue ready to go again, as the coach you will understand what your players need to practice more to improve their shooting, so you can vary your serving to suit each player for example you could serve the ball in front of the player along the floor on their left hand side if they need to practice their left foot shooting or serve the ball high over their right shoulder so that the ball is bouncing and the player can practice volleying, a great drill where players can react accordingly and get a good shooting practice, continue for 20 minutes so that all players and goalkeeper are getting real game practice.
