Combination play - Deep, set & open
Description: A two part combination exercise with emphasis on fast play in tight areas
Players, key points:
1) Concentration & communication - Control what you can mentally
2) Weight of pass - W,D,T,A
3) Movement - Check off the cone before recieving **Dont block passing channells
4) Anticipation - Think of what you have o do next
5) Tempo - 1 and fast 2 touch

Combination play - Forward pasing & recieving
Description: Two grids split with a 2V1 in the middle and a target player on each end who cant be tackled, the exercise has a few progressions with passing conditions & movement rules.
Players, key points:
**Take the last passing exercise and see can you mimic the same passing patterns in this session: Deep & set, Diagnol pocket to go forward etc.
1) Quality of pass - W, D , T , A
2) Movement - Taking eachothers space and check
3) Adaptation - React to bad passes & become unpredicatable (find the target)

Possession - Combination play to open out
Description: Also a target game with 4 players on the outside and a 4v3 in favour o blues in the middle. The objective is for the blues to keep possession and for the red team to work on ball reention and look to dribble outside of the square.
Progressions:
1) Side players can be tackled
2) Play a side player, take their place
3) Play a side player, a teammate takes their place
Players, key points:
**This is the third evolution of the exercises, starting off with passing patterns structured with no pressure, Passing patterns with pressure and decision making and now in a full possession game.
1) Quality of pass - W, T , D , A
2) Movement - 3 yard checks to create better passing lanes
3) Switch play - To create a better passing channell
4) Overall objective - Combine and switch
