Set Up
- Move the middle cones of each channel to create two mini channels for the two bigger channels left.
- Move 2 players from the old middle channel to join the groups either side.
The drill
- Player 1 on the bottom side of the screen passes the ball across to the other player.
- When receiving the ball, player 2 touches the ball out of their feet and tries running with the ball through the gate either on the left or right of the channel.
- The original passer closes the player down and tries to tackle them before they get through the gate.
- Once everyone has had a go the passers become the attackers.
Objective
- To have a go at running with the ball in a competitive environment while making sure the mechanics are still correct.
