Organization:
Instructions: Players practice messi touches inside a small area. The coach will call out a number. Players must dribble their ball and stop it on the line closest to the number of cones called out by the coach (1,2,3 or 4). Each player starts with 10 points. The last player to make it to the designated end line will loose a point.
Coaching Points:
Dribble with your head up

Organization:
One team will play offense and one team will play defense.
Instructions:
Players attempt to get by they're defender by running or dribbling their soccer ball.
Coaching Points:
-Run with your head up
-Drive directly at your defender then change your pace and direction to beat your defender
-Drive in one direction to create space on the opposite side, then explode with pace into that open space.
(P) Dribble with your head up
Progressions:
Add a soccerball - players try to dribble across endline
Add a goal - players attempt to beat defender and finish on goal
