Footwork

Set Up -

A channel is made 7ydsx 15yds.

1.Every player has a ball and works indivually from one end to the other. As one player gets half way the player behind goes.

Players work on increasing their comfort level with the ball.

a. Inside outside. Right foot one way, left the other way.

b. Inside outside inside. Right foot left foot right foot - repeat.

c. small touches. every step forawrd is a touch.

d. Foward roll with the sole of the cleat.

e. Backwards roll with the sole of the cleat.

f. Feinting left or right when the player gets inbewteen the blue cones.

2. Players work to the blue line and back to the red line line where they started.

a. Inside of the foot turn.

b. Outside of the foot turn.

c. Drag back turn.

d. Cruyff Turn.

Crossing and Finishing

Both sides working at the same time.

Two pairs work in the middle for 6mins, 3mins crosses from the right and then another 3mins from the left side. After a shot on goal they must recover to the top of the box.

The sequence starts with a player to the right of the goal playing a pass to the player at the mannaquin who breaks off to recieve the ball and then plays a 1/2 around the mannaquin recieves the ball and cross the ball.
