A basic model MiniRoos session which works on passing/receiving with some movement off the ball. Can also be used in situations where space is limited and only requires minimal equipment.

Session Organization: Exact same setup as before.
Explanation: This time when Player 1 passes to Player 2, Player 2 receives the ball and chooses another random gate to pass back through. Then Player 1 must run to the other side of the next gate in order to receive that pass. Count how many completed gateway passes can be achieved in 1 minute and see which pairing has the most. Repeat for multiple rounds, though allow a short rest break after each 1 minute block.

Session Organization: Same setup as before, though we have quickly removed all the Yellow Cones (leaving Red Cones) and are now operating with just 1 ball. This ensures a very quick transition between exercises and keeps players attention.
Explanation: It is now Pink v Blue in a 4v4 match with 4 corner gates which act as goals. To score a goal you must pass through a gate and have a teammate successfully receive it on the other side. It is interactive like a normal match, with tackles and interceptions permitted. Keep a running tally of the score for either side and maybe introduce several time periods/blocks.
Progression: Limit the play to 2 touches, shorten game into smaller blocks to increase the energy levels and intensity of play.
Evaluation: Are the players scanning for opportunites in gates which are not crowded by opponents? Are teammates making intelligent runs off the ball in order to receive a pass in open space? Observe technique in passing/recieving/body position.

The Gates (10 mins)
Session Organization: Set up a grid area of at least 20m wide by 15m long. A series of "gates" are created using at least two different colours of cones. Note the placement of the red cones for later use.
Explanation: Players Pair up between a chosen gate and count how many passes they can complete between that gate within a minute. Highest pair score wins first round, can repeat for 3-5 rounds.
Progression: Could restrict players to use their non-dominant foot for a minute.
